The Space

Built in 1884, this beautiful building has been carefully renovated to accentuate it's old charm.  Accommodates fans and bands coming to St. Louis for a show at the World-Famous Off Broadway Music Venue or any other venue in St. Louis, and for travelers just coming to check out the city!

There are two separate sleeping rooms- one with a private full bath, one twin day bed with twin roll-out trundle, a twin murphy bed, and a queen size loft.  A few steps down the hall is a separate bedroom with one queen, one twin, and a sofa. Features free wifi access and a flat screen tv in each sleeping room.

The adjoining, luxurious Jam Room features the following Backline setup:

3-piece Pearl Export Select drum kit with cymbals and sticks

Fender Deville Guitar combo Amp

BA -115 Bass combo Amp

200w Yamaha Mixer/PA/Speakers

3 mics, Cables and Stands.  

*Bring: guitar, bass guitar and any other instruments, such as horns, keyboard, mics, etc.

Attached to the Jam Room, is a 1/2 bathroom, with space to store luggage and prepare.  Also a wet bar, including utensils, cups, plates, beverage fridge and microwave.

  

Lounge on the Back Porch, where you'll meet concert-goers from Off Broadway, hanging on the venue's patio.  A stay at The Pocket does NOT include tickets to the venue next door or any other venue.  Entrance to Off Broadway is necessary from their front, where tickets are sold.

WE DO NOT HOST LOCALS. IF YOU INSTANT BOOK AND ARE LOCAL IT WILL BE CANCELED. Message if you are local for special consideration.

You must provide a copy of your government ID when booking this property.

Guest Access

Guests can access the gated 1-car parking for storing a trailer of gear or a car. Easy private back entrance from the parking in rear or enter from front door of building.  Access to the Jam Room, with guitar amp/combo, bass amp/combo, drum kit, PA system, 3 mics/stands/cables, stylish Wet-bar.

*PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: It is absolutely imperative that guests lock all doors and close back gates for the safety of themselves, their belongings, and the commercial tenants on the second and third floors.  THE SECOND AND THIRD FLOORS ARE OFF LIMITS TO GUESTS>  All common interior and exterior areas are heavily monitored with cameras for safety and security of guests and tenants.  Any indication of violation of these rules is grounds for immediate removal*  

Other things to Note

This is a MUSIC building.  You might hear bands rehearsing from the 2nd or 3rd floor.   

It has 3 floors.  

The first floor is made up of the Jambnb suite only, which is private and completely reserved for guests only.

NOTE: This is a music-oriented space. Bands may be practicing at reasonable times (10am to 11pm m-thur) and 10am to 1:30am friday and sat nights.

The Location

AMAZING LOCATION!  Benton Park/Marine Villa are artist neighborhoods in South City, one block from Cherokee St/ Antique Row and across the street from the old (Haunted) Lemp Brewery!  

There are microbrews, great restaurants, eclectic bars, coffee shops, great music, breakfast spots, tourist destinations ...all in walking distance.   Minutes from downtown, the Arch, so much more.

Super close to transit and freeway access.

Getting Around

So much to do within walking distance!  By foot, check out the historic architecture, welcoming streetscapes, friendly locals.

Lastly, you will be taken care of!   I want to make sure this stay is unique & memorable for my guests.  There are musicians coming and going in this building (through the common front entrance only), so the atmosphere is a very cool and respectful.
